Breastfeeding can be really hard…

At MothersBabies, although we know of the benefits of breastfeeding for bub’s microbiome, we also recognise the potential for breastfeeding struggles…

For some people (including myself!), breastfeeding does not come easily!

Having a good support network, as well as having a strong ‘why’, can really help to get you through some of the darker moments of breastfeeding.

We are lucky in Australia to have some amazing, free facilities at our public hospitals and community health clinics, so, if you need support, why not reach out to one (or all) of these services?

  1. Call the breastfeeding hotline.
  2. Call your hospital’s breastfeeding clinic.
  3. Visit a lactation consultant.
  4. Call a friend or relative who’s been through it.

Sometimes just knowing you’re not the only one experiencing these things can get you through the tough times.

If you want some additional motivation for giving it one more try, MothersBabies has a module in their online course focusing on why breastfeeding is so incredible for your baby’s gut health, and how this can potentially influence their future health. Check it out for FREE (along with the other 9 modules!) via the link below.

Discover what our MothersBabies experts have to say about breastfeeding and the impact on your baby’s gut microbiome and health throughout their lives in our online course ‘Healthy Gut, Healthier Baby’….All 10 modules are FREE for a limited time.

Simply enter the code ‘HEALTHYBUB’ when you check out, and you will gain free access to the entire ten modules (normally priced at $376!)
