An article by the New York Times discusses the importance of eating the right foods and the impact this has on gut health and optimising the microbiome

 

Findings from a new international study have shown that consuming a diet consisting of nutrient-rich whole foods encouraged better health by supporting beneficial microbes, and how highly processed foods can produce adverse effects on the microbiome. Interestingly, the study also found that diet had a bigger impact on the microbiome than genes. Click here to view the article.
