It’s only been quite recently that science has uncovered the importance of the microbiome for male fertility….
Whilst we’ve known for a while that a guy’s semen is a gracious host to its own party of microbes, very little research had been done (until recently!) on just how these minuscule microorganisms could impact a man’s ability to make babies.
But it turns out that the microbiome of semen does have an impact on fertility…In fact, scientists have discovered that different semen microbiome compositions are associated with varying semen quality and fertility outcomes…For example, a prevotella-dominated semen microbiome is around 8.5 times more likely to contain abnormalities!
This is an important and exciting discovery because we can modify our microbiome by changing our diet and lifestyle!
To gain practical tips on how to go about this, head to Module 4 of our online course, which discusses which microbe you want more of in your semen, whether probiotics can help, and where all this science leaves us, in terms of baby-making abilities!
Better yet, our entire online course ‘Healthy Gut, Healthier Baby’, is currently FREE (normally priced at $376)!
Simply enter the code ‘HEALTHYBUB’ when you check out and it’s all your for $0.
