Thought we’d start the year with a simple recipe to keep you cool this summer. These icy pops have the gut-supporting goodness of probiotics from the kefir, the polyphenols in the mixed berries and even some fibre to feed your microbes.
INGREDIENTS
1 Litre Plain Kefir
1 cup mixed berries
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp chia seeds
1/2 ripe avocado
METHOD:
Place all ingredients in a blender and whiz until smooth.
Pour mixture into ice block moulds and place into freezer.
*Once you’ve made these ones, you can start experimenting with different fruits, adding nut butters or a variety of veggies like frozen spinach or zucchini.
