If you’ve been following along for a while now, you’ll know how important our gut health is to so many aspects of our overall health as human beings…

There are certain factors that shape our gut microbiome that we have little, or no, control over, such as how we were born, whether our mums breastfed us, or whether our parents had a fluffy pet when we were a baby! But, there is one factor that you do have some control over, and it’s this factor that can have one of the largest impacts on your gut microbiome composition and function…

It’s your diet!

This week’s newsletter goes deep into all the different ways that your diet can affect your gut microbiome, looking at the different elements of your diet, such as fats and proteins, which foods are beneficial, and which foods are less beneficial, to support a thriving gut community.

This newsletter includes:

  • An article written by nutritionist Clare Carrick on how your diet impacts your gut health and what this may mean for your health.
  • A research summary written by Dr Fathalla Ali looking at the specifics of diet and your gut microbiota composition and function.
  • Budget friendly options for improving your microbiome, with Nutritionist, Herbalist and Fertility Consultant Brittany Darling.
