Restricting whole food groups…

Downing vile green concoctions…

Saying no to that birthday cake…

For many people, when they think about ‘being healthy’ and looking after their gut health, they focus on restriction, supplements and green juices…

But what if we told you that, for most people, the things that are good for your gut can also be quite enjoyable?!

Here is a gut health protocol that will be a joy to follow!*

Get a massage – Managing stress is crucial for gut health.

Hang out with your friends – Not only will they share their diverse microbiome with you, the social connection will also help lower stress levels.

Chill with your dog – People with pets have more diverse microbiomes, most likely due to all those friendly dog kisses!

Get out into the garden – A top stress buster and an excellent way to expose yourself to a whole range of new microbes.

Head to your local farmer’s market – Grab a wide variety of seasonal fruits and veggies, enjoy the sunshine and feel the sense of community. Win, win, win for you and your gut!

Doesn’t sound too terrible does it?

* Obviously, for some people with specific gut issues, this protocol will not be enough to see great results, and we recommend those people see a specialist… but, for many of us, a bit of all this would do wonders for our microbiome!

If you’d like to learn more about optimising your gut health (in an enjoyable, non-restrictive way!), sign up to our online course ‘Healthy Gut, Healthier Baby’, which is currently free!

Simply enter the code ‘HEALTHYBUB’ when you check out, and you will gain free access to the entire ten modules (normally priced at $376!)
